I can't quite remember when It happened, but at some point last year Joey and I noticed that each we both really like taking profile shots of cars. I think it may have been when were cruising around south city in St. Louis and we saw a 60's Plymouth Valiant (pictured somewhere below). I don't know how much we talked about it back then but as the year progressed we both continued to snap shots of cars from this angle. We didn't take pictures of every car like this, only when it felt right. Sometimes it was at car shows, races, or even speeding down the interstate, and sometimes it was when we spotted something cool parked on the side of the road. The latter are the most fun to capture because it's always an unexpected surprise. We finally gathered up all of these pictures, so here they are. If you have any profile shots you'd like to share feel free to use the hashtag #SideKars on Instagram. Feel free to check out our IG feed, username: Atomic_Age_Alchemy

The Baby Wren Flies

If you have any interest in hot rods or choppers you're gonna love what you see in this post. Way back in November I wrote a couple of posts about my trip to Fort Wayne, IN with my girlfriend, Meg. The first one was about the stop we made at the James Dean Run. In the second post I showed you all of the delightful things from Fort Wayne. It has been over two months since I wrote the first of these four parts so I guess it's finally time I guide you through the third part of this journey, spending some time with my great friend, Wesley Wren!

Vintage Shops of St. Louis pt. 1: The Vintage Haberdashery

This post is part of a series featuring some of our favorite St. Louis area vintage stores. Follow along as we show you the best of what St. Louis has to offer in the way of mid-century shopping. We will be doing these posts all year long. They will be in no particular order but we can assure you that if you see it here it is worth checking out!

Clothes, clothes, clothes, and plenty of them! I honestly can't believe how long it has taken me to stop by The Vintage Haberdashery on Morgan Ford. I guess I always knew it was there but I had never heard anybody talking about it, and I DON"T KNOW WHY! If you are on the hunt for vintage clothing in St. Louis, Missouri, this is definitely one of the first places I would send you.
